Knifeworld, The Fierce And The Dead and Trojan Horse are to undertake a three way, week long tour of the UK in late October/Early November sponsored by Prog Magazine, Rock-A-Rolla and Z Vex FX pedals.
All three rising bands have been championed by Prog, and have received support from Rock-A-Rolla magazine and the blogosphere. Fiercely independent, these bands are unique and on the cutting edge of current UK progressive rock.
As kindred spirits, Knifeworld, TFATD and Trojan Horse represent forward looking, challenging, dense yet melodic exploratory rock. This co-operative touring ensemble will deliver an unforgettable night of head melting invention with not a cape or Mellotron in sight.
Expect gnarled Northern experimentalism from Manchester four piece Trojan Horse. Acoustic loop wizard Matt Stevens 'gone electric' delivers angular and epic swathes of post- riffery with The Fierce And The Dead while eight-piece Knifeworld, fronted by Cardiacs and Guapo guitarist Kavus Torabi and including members of Chrome Hoof, deliver dense, soaring, kaleidoscopic prog.
Knifeworld, TFATD and Trojan Horse have all released EPs - Clairvoyant Fortnight, On VHS, and Fire respectively in 2012 to critical acclaim.
